グローバル化する研究室

　今年7月21日に、帰国される研究生のイスラエルさんの送別会を行いました。イスラエルさんはリスボン工科大学から交換留学制度で3月に来日し、また当研究室に所属した最初の留学生でした。設計の課題で、移転する九大箱崎キャンパスの跡地将来のデザイン案に取り組んでいました。ゼミでは日英両語版のレジュメをこしらえ、発表も英語を交える等私達もいい刺激をもらいました。 　また9月からは韓国・大邱の慶北大学で教鞭をとっておられるユン・チョルチェ先生が、さらに10月からは釜山大学の大学院生スン・ツォンさんが研究生として加わりました。ユン先生は東大で博士を取得され、日建設計での実務経験があり日本語が堪能です。お仕事の都合で福岡・大邱を行き来し、常にご一緒というわけではありませんが、学ばせていただく良い機会ですので私達も色いろと吸収したいと思います。

We had a farewell party on July 21st for Israel Delgado, an exchange student from Technical University of Lisbon. He had studied in this laboratory from March. His work was about redesigning of Hakozaki area where Kyushu university will leave. Also he was the first foreign student in this laboratory. We, Japanese students had chances to train our English especially in speaking and technical term. After that, Cheol-Jae Yoon, an assistant professor from Kyungpook University in Daegu, Korea joined this laboratory. He is a Japanese speaker because he got a PhD in The University of Tokyo and had been in Nikken Sekkei. In October Sun Cong, a graduate student in Pusan University, Korea joined this laboratory. We, Japanese students are blessed with opportunity to interact with people from overseas!
